Bowling For Soup last nite, and just thought I'd scribble you all a lil' note to say it was a BLAST!, this is about the 5th time I've seen em' and it never gets dull, high energy, loud and fun with a capital FU!, just how RNR should be, a great show, complete with a nice Britney cover, if they swing by your neck of the woods GO SEE fsure!!!

Also support from 'Feeble Weiner' sorta like a Cheap Trick/Ramones crossover really catchy and LOADSA fun well worth checkin' out!!!

So there you have it, the fat man truly does ROCK!

Now, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the guitarist really the only "fat man" in the bunch? In a few of the lyrics the vocalist refers to himself as fat, but I don't think he is, is he? If he is, then all of Good Charlotte should be singing the same song, as all of them have added some weight since the last album. Obviously they have had some success! I expect I will be finding myself at a Bowling show sometime in the future. My wife plays that new CD all dang day! Between them, Matchbox 20, and All American Rejects (which I do like a lot, and it is my CD she stole), I don't think she needs any other CD's!

You are correct Carl the lead singer Jaret, and the rest of the soups are slim jims and the guitarist is a whole lotta fella to say the least, the reason for the title of the post is....*drum role*... on their new merch T's etc it says "Bowling For Soup - The Fat Man Rocks".

Power to your wife Carl, the new CD is a great spin and AAR are an awesome band, but a new CD is SO needed I think mines about worn out! lol! Not heard Matchbox 20 only one track I recon, you recon I'd like it?

<font size="4" face="Arial">No, I would expect you wouldn't like Matchbox. Impressive songwriter, but eh, just O.K. execution, so to speak. But who knows, check 'em out, but they are NOT Punk in any way shape or form.

Yeah, AAR are a cool band. It just took me forever to believe that they were a real band. The CD had no names mentioned, or pictures, and even the website was absent of info and pictures. Then in the video, the vocalist/bassist guy doesn't play the right stuff in "Swing, Swing". They have a live video, and even that is a bit suspect on his playing abilities. It is him singing live, so that voice (which is pretty impressive), is all his. But it was all so odd! I guess they are in the studio working on the new one which is supposed to be out very soon.
